Farmhouse Chicken Primavera & Mountain Rose Herb Giveaway!!

As the days become more crisp and trees garner their golden and russet attire, I find myself looking for cozy and delicious recipes to feed my family.  It almost is instinctual, the desire to fill my kitchen with the aroma of something from my farmgirl heritage: Chicken & vegetables.

Several months ago, the gracious Mountain Rose Herb company had asked me if I was interested in reviewing some of their Epicurean Organics products.  Throughout the summer, I have written about our family's experience with their wonderful products and held some giveaways. Now, among the backdrop of the golden splendor outside, we embark on our final epicurean adventure: organic Lemon Pepper.

Farmhouse Chicken Primavera

Ingredients:
  • 4 Tbsp. Lemon Pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz. frozen mixed spring vegetable medley
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions:

1. Place chicken breasts and vegetable medley in 2 separate bowls. Toss each with olive oil and 1 Tbsp. Lemon Pepper Seasoning and a little flour.

2. Lay chicken on a 9 x 9 inch roasting pan. Place vegetables in an ovenproof casserole dish.

3. Place both in 375°F preheated oven and cook 30 - 45 minutes, turning each after 10 minutes.

4. Serve by spooning vegetables over chicken breasts on each plate. Enjoy!

Mountain Rose Herb's Epicurean Organic's Lemon Pepper is simplying delicious.  It is a blend of Sea Salt, Onion, Lemon Peel & Black Pepper.  Certified Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO, Irradiation Free and Chemical Free (.....so I can bake/cook guilt free...)  Just the perfect blend of each spice, to make a unique and delicious medley. Citrus & Pepper.

Enjoy this warm & delicious meal outside if possible, to soak in all the beauty of this glorious season!

  2. I think I love everything about fall-the cooler temps, the golden days, the leaves changing. I love hearing the marching band on Friday nights at the high school down the road. I love cuddling with my five year old on our swing with an old quilt. There are too many to mention!

  6. I love taking nature walks with my boys, enjoying the cool air and collecting leaves and other pieces of nature to create fun fall crafts later on. I also love being able to open the windows and let the fresh cool air breeze through the house while snuggled up on the couch with my little ones reading books.

  7. I love everything about fall. I love the rich colors of the leaves, the cooler temperatures, and the harvest. It is a season of gathering and a time of thanks. I love putting the garden to bed for the winter and watching as the trees blanket it with their leaves to protect the soil from the coming snows. I love sitting on the porch with a hot cup of herbal tea, a blanket, and a book. I love the aromatic scents and flavors of fall dishes and warmth they provide. I love everything about fall, and it is my favorite season!

  8. Fall is my favorite season, a time that speaks of gathering-in and stocking-up. The colors that abound delight me - and the scent of woodsmoke in the air makes me think of longer nights.

  10. Fall for me is just a wonderful "ahhh" after a very hot and humid summer here in the South. Add to that the beauty of color and the mounting excitement for the upcoming holidays and it turns me into a child once more.

  29. Even though I live in So Calif where the changing of the seasons is not as dramatic, I love the fall. Porches with pumpkins, wreaths on doors that showcase leaves and Indian corn, and bustling apple orchards in Oak Glen. All these remind me of childhood days in Michigan, when fall was spectacular. Thanks for this give away ... blessings for a cozy season.
